Rimmel London Extra WOW Lash

The Extra Wow Lash is part of Rimmel London's mascara line.  I have to admit, I bought this one because it was about $1.50 cheaper than any other Rimmel mascaras they carry at my CVS.  Having not tried any Rimmel London mascara before, I wanted to test out one of their most basic mascaras before diving into their more specific mascara types.

As you can see, the brush is a pretty standard mascara brush.  It tapers towards the ends, which is great for getting those small lashes in the corner.  However, you can probably also see the excess product at the end of the wand.  I find this makes it harder to apply to the corner lashes.

I'm not overly impressed, but I'm not dissatisfied by any means.  To me, this mascara seems like an average drugstore mascara.  It does have a tendency to clump, but the formulation seems to have the right balance - it's not too dry or too wet.  It also dries quickly, which is a plus for me!  I have long eyelashes naturally, which sometimes can give me little black dots above my crease if my mascara doesn't dry quick enough.

If you're in a pinch for mascara, and don't want to break the bank, Extra WOW Lash will absolutely do the trick.  However, if you're looking for refined, individual lashes, you'll want to check back for my next post!
